Open Thursdays to Sundays, the bar has an extensive cocktail list and hosts comedy, live music and jazz performances. I went along last Friday night for a Comedy + Cocktail night hosted in conjunction with foodie website Zomato.
The bar fits about 60 people, and is furnished with trendy sofas, seats and ornate tables. As a female, I was particularly impressed by their women's dressing room near the bathrooms. It had a leopard print chaise lounge, glitter details and large well lit mirrors- basically it was what every sassy woman's boudoir should look like.
The cocktail of choice last Friday was a Tia Maria Espresso Martini, expertly made by the friendly bar men. It looked pretty damn good, but I was on a non-drinking night, so asked them to make me a mocktail and surprise me what was in it. I got a blueberry and raspberry blended drink with mint and ice. It was one of the best mocktails I've had in Edinburgh.
